Donald Joseph Qualls (also known as DJ Qualls) is a fashion actor and model from the United States. His fame was sparked by his performance in Road Trip. Since then DJ Qualls has starred on 20 features such including The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. In addition, he has appeared on more than 22 shows on television including Breaking Bad Supernatural Scrubs Lost Law & Order and many more. Qualls has been fighting Hodgkin's Lymphoma from the time he was 14 years old. Following two years of treatment his cancer went into remission. However, the early treatment had severe effects on his health and stunted development. As he got older, financial security seemed to be his ultimate goal as he had seen poverty throughout his life. I've lived such a low-cost lifestyle for so long I have the financial stability or else the world seems beyond my control, he stated in an interview. He also reflects on his youth and hopes to do something about the problem of bullying. "Cruelty makes me cry," he said. Both in real life and on the screen, DJ could like to play a father. He admits that Directors don't want to cast DJ in such characters. In the future, he'd love to have a child so that he could devote much less of his time to more attention to the newborn.
